Jurojin Confirmed for Poland’s Metal Hammer Festival -- Friday, August 27th

London’s JUROJIN have landed a slot to perform at Poland’s prestigious Metal Hammer Festival 2010. They join a line-up of only seven bands and will be playing with the likes of Korn, Opeth, and Katatonia. The one-day festival takes place in Katowice in the famous Spodek venue.

Shocking news from the camp of Swedish modern rock / metal superstars SONIC SYNDICATE! Bass player Karin Axelsson got seriously injured during the shoot of the bands brand new video for the song “Turn It Up”. The accident occurred while shooting a scene where the band is being murdered with a guitar by a sexy girl. Intended to be a fake of course, Karin really got hit with the instrument on her head causing a laceration as well as a brain concussion.

Many remember the shock in 2003 when - thirteen years into their existence and one year after the band was nominated for an Alarm award for Sons Of Northern Darkness – IMMORTAL suddenly announced they would disband.

Flash-back to the late 1950's when rock music was becoming the single most infectious phenomenon the world had ever seen. The people at the forefront of this era were the ones who had something inherently special and unique to bring to music. Flash forward to the present and the same is still true, but rock music is now an aggressive match of 'king of the hill', where the only ones standing out are the ones who have the capacity to re-invent rock.
