Hammerfest II - March 2010
Hammerfest, now in her second year, is the festival aimed at bringing like minded Metal Heads together to have a bloody good time.
There’s none of that tripping over guy ropes or trekking to the port-a-loo in the middle of the night here; with Pontins cheery holiday accommodation and spacious indoor stages, it’s all pleasant smelling toilets and warm nights for the thousands of metallers selling out this years gathering.
Add to all of this a huge helping of some of the worlds finest Metal acts, and you may have some sort of understanding of what we’re about to encounter... A three day booze filled, metal party; enhanced by adrenalin charged circle pits, walls of death and probably some of the mightiest hangovers known to man… With a good dose of ‘hair of the dog’, let us take you on a journey of one of the wildest weekends so far this year…
In between heavy sessions in the mosh pit and narrowly escaping being trampled at the hands Five Finger Death Punches incredible 'Wall of Death', Primal Noise sat down with a few of the bands performing over the course of the weekend to find out how the festival went for them...

- Starting off the day, PrimalNoise sat down with guitarist, Anders Nyström, of KATATONIA.
A swedish metal band who have been going strong since they formed in 1991.

Next up for interrogation is BEHOLDER, a 5-piece metal band from the Midlands here in the UK, who have been taking Britain by storm with their love for the truest form of metal.
